Position: Director of Client Development
Division: Freight Forwarder/3PL Sales
Basic Overview of Role & Responsibilities:
- Client Retention: Manage the client’s experience to ensure consistent satisfaction. Understanding their current & future needs and goals. Designing solutions to support the client’s strategic growth.
- Prospecting: Identify and pursue business opportunities with both new and existing clients by using all tools available to you – emails, cold calls, in-person appointments, networking, cold stops, video calls, etc.
- Engaging: Meeting with prospects and clients to understand their unique needs and introduce yourself and your company.
- Solutioning: Collaborate with the team to create unique solutions to the identified prospect & client problems.
- Overcoming: Identify the obstacles associated with securing the business. Work with clients to better understand the objection and then develop a mutually beneficial solution with all.
- Secure New Business: Win opportunities that allow for mutually beneficial relationships. Manage your pipeline to ensure consistent growth.

Compensation:
- Salary
- Commissions, processed monthly, with no ceiling
