Intermodal Pricing Specialist
Basic Overview of Role and Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will assume responsibility for the below functions.
- Manage the client’s experience to ensure consistent satisfaction.
- Assist Business Development with the acquisition of new clients.
- Analyze client opportunities and develop innovative solutions and associated pricing.
- Identify carriers to fulfill strategic opportunities.
- Manage and respond to RFQ’s.
- Ensure profit margin protection relative to quoted solutions.
- Analyze performance and pricing data to draw insights and then take action.
- Foster and maintain relationships with carriers by serving as a source of information, designing improvements/solutions for their business needs, and providing guidance.
- Collaborate with the operations team to create unique solutions to prospect and client problems.
- Identify service/product improvements by monitoring industry trends and engaging in discussions with clients.
- Develop and sustain professional skills, technical knowledge and industry news by reviewing industry publications, attending workshops, and participating in training and ongoing education.
- Manage your pipeline to ensure consistent growth.
- Focus on your growth, client satisfaction, and achieving company goals.

Experience of an Ideal Candidate:
In addition to the above, all candidates must meet the below minimum requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
It is preferred, but not required, that candidates have the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in a business discipline
- Related professional experience in domestic logistics, warehousing, or supply chain
